Two Injured in Fort Wayne Crash, Fleeing Driver Gets DWI

An Indiana car crash occurred in Fort Wayne on Sunday, December 19 that left two people injured and one with criminal charges, including a DWI, and leaving the scene of an accident, according to JournalGazette.net. A 22-year-old motorist was driving south on St. Joe Road in Fort Wayne when his vehicle crossed the median and into another car driven by a 23-year-old male. Also in the vehicle was a 27-year-old passenger. The 23-year-old was pinned inside the vehicle and sustained injuries which were later reported to be serious after being taken to a local hospital. The 27-year-old passenger also suffered serious injuries while the 22-year-old did not sustain injury. The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene of the car crash on foot and was arrested shortly after.
